Like Discover Main Street itself, Small Business Saturday is an effort to help grow our communities by thinking small, as in small businesses that make up the most meaningful parts of our communities.
The 5th annual Small Business Saturday will take place Saturday November 29th. It’s your chance to give back to your community by shopping locally. When you shop in a local boutique, or dine at a small, independent restaurant (we hope you have been making the most of Local Restaurant Week hint hint), or use a local service, the money you are spending is staying here in Clarence – where it can do the most good.
Discover Main Street is here to help. We’re participating with the Shop Small event to rally our neighborhood and all of WNY to find out what our small business on Main Street have to offer. Some of our promotional materials have already started to arrive, and more are on the way. Today, we unboxed new Shop Small cloth bags designed by Rebecca Minkoff specially for Small Business Saturday. We will also have window signs and other promotional materials. Look for much more information in the days to come.
If you are a Main Street small business and you would like to find out how you can become a part of our Small Business Saturday event, please drop us a line at email@example.com .
If you’re simply a smart consumer, we will be publishing a list of participating merchants and special offers. So Circle November 29th on your calendar and remember that Main Street in Clarence is your place to shop, dine and discover!
