The holidays are fast approaching, so we’re going to give you a little help. “Small Business Saturday – Saturday, November 28, 2015” is making its return to Main Street in Clarence. Not only can you find awesome holiday gifts right on Main Street, but by supporting local businesses you are helping your community. Make shopping local part of your plans this season.

Details of Small Business Saturday will be announced in the upcoming days. A passport program will be in place where shoppers can get great discounts and are eligible to win a Main Street Clarence gift basket worth over $500. November 2014 saw the inaugural Small Business Saturday on Main Street and was warmly received by shoppers and Main Street businesses alike.

Shopping (and all that comes with it) on Main Street is a wonderful thing. There are so many neat shops and places to visit from Transit Road through Clarence Hollow. You’ll definitely score some sweet holiday gifts and food.

When you make purchases on Main Street, much more of your money stays local – rather than go to a corporate office in another state. Quite often the person assisting you in the shops and restaurants are the owners or family members. Essentially, your holiday dollars support your neighbors and the Clarence community.
