On Thursday, February 25th, the Clarence Chamber of Commerce presents their 44th Annual Awards Dinner which celebrates outstanding citizens, businesses and organizations in Clarence. The “Roaring Twenties – Gatsby Comes to Clarence” themed celebration takes place at Samuel’s Grand Manor, 8750 Main Street. There is a 6:00 p.m. cocktail hour and 7:00 p.m. dinner and awards ceremony.

There are many different levels of celebration at this event. The chamber is celebrating their 60th anniversary. Mr. Jan Reicis is the new president of the chamber, who took over the duties from Judith Sirianni who retired in October. However, due to her commitment to the Clarence community, Judith Sirianni is also one of the evening’s award recipients for “Citizen of the Year.” Main Mobility is awarded “Business of the Year.” Clarence Citizens for Veterans was named “Organization of the Year.” Rounding out the recipients is Robert Poczik for “Lifetime Achiever of the Year.”
Individual tickets, twosomes and tables are available. It is a Great Gatsby themed-event, so wear cocktail attire and feel free to jazz it up. For reservations, stop by the chamber office, call (716) 631-3888 or visit the chamber’s website here.
