Main Street in Clarence is becoming a more bike friendly place with the construction of a bike corral created by local sculptor Mark Griffis. The bike corral will be located on the Clarence bike path at the farmers’ market site at 10711 Main Street. Bicyclists will be able to lock up their bikes when visiting Clarence Hollow or the farmers’ market. A special addition to the corral will be a self-contained bike repair station. The bike corral will be dedicated on Saturday, July 9th at 12 noon and is open to the public. The bike corral is being supported by a grant from Clarence Rotary Club and the bike repair station is being supported by the Clarence Hollow Association
Recently Clarence Rotary Club’s Paul Justinger stopped by Griffis Studios in Buffalo to check on the progress of the construction of bike rack.
