One of the great things about summertime in Western New York is the tremendous amount of free outdoor concert events. That’s certainly true on Main Street in Clarence, NY where the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra will be performing a free concert Wednesday July 2oth at 7PM at the Clarence Town Park, 10405 Main Street.
Enjoy a relaxing summer evening as the Orchestra, under the direction of conductor Stefan Sanders, performs their special take a variety of familiar themes, including tributes to the motion pictures Batman, Superman, Rocky and more, as well as TV favorites like Game of Thrones and Downton Abbey. The event is made possible in part by a sponsorship from Kelly Schultz Antiques, 11145 Main St in Clarence.
These long summer nights are what we all look forward to after the winter months, and are unique to our northern latitude. What better way to enjoy the summer season than with a relaxing outdoor performance? So bring your folding chairs and a blanket (and maybe some bug spray) and appreciate a world-class orchestra taking their show on the road to Main Street in Clarence.
Remember, a comprehensive list of summertime events on Main Street is available in our Main Street Summer Events Guide.
