Bring Your Appetite to the Bike Stampede

The Slow Roll Clarence Bike Stampede  at West Shore Brewing Company (10995 Main Street) is almost upon us. We’ve been billing the event as Bikes Beer and BBQ, and we’ve been getting a lot of questions about the BBQ portion of the event. Here’s a look at your food options for Saturday.

Smoke, Fire & Spice

SFS outdoors

Clarence locals know that Smoke, Fire and Spice is not only a high-end, one shop stop for grills, smokers, accessories and spices but also has a weekend menu of take out barbeque, including the best brisket sandwich on Main Street. Don’t take our word for it. Give it a try yourself, and you’ll be stopping by their shop at 10189 Main Street (the Stampede will roll right by) for your weekly smoky fix – just like we do!

The BBQ Truck – J & L’s Blvd. BBQ

J & L's BBQ Truck

“Cooked Low and Slow, Served Fast and Friendly” is the slogan of the The BBQ Food Truck. This is no heat and eat operation either. The BBQ Truck uses a grill right onboard their food truck that burns actual wood logs, using seasoned fruit woods gives to give their food an unmistakable flavorful goodness that can’t be duplicated in traditional ovens. J & L’s Blvd. BBQ is also a past Oinktoberfest winner for their baked beans, so they know their sides too.

For those looking for some lighter fare, The Salad Bar Truck is for you. The Salad Bar Truck bills themselves as “Buffalo’s ORIGINAL mobile Salad Bar, serving healthier choices.” With a sponsorship from Independent Health and their Healthy Options program, you can be sure that fresh, hand chopped and tossed salad you create yourself will be as healthy as it is delicious.
