Rock the Barn has become a major community affair in Clarence. What originally started out as a barn dance featuring Zydeco band Blue Sky Mission Club back in 2005 has blossomed into a two-day festival the past six years, attracting thousands of attendees each year. The concert is held on the grounds of the Big Yellow Barn at 9015 Main Street, making it a truly unique event venue.

While the essence of Rock the Barn is music, there are many more aspects including local food vendors serving mouth-watering food, a beer tent, raffles, a children’s craft area and more. A second stage was added in 2016, as the event continues to evolve and grow.

ProcTask-Force-Thermometer-2018eeds from the previous Rock the Barn concerts have helped the Task Force amass over $685,000 in its endowment fund – more than two-thirds of the way towards their $1,000,000 goal. Funds from the endowment are used to support Meals on Wheels routes in Clarence, Akron and Newstead.

From their distribution point at the Clarence Senior Center, Meals on Wheels volunteers deliver over 25,000 meals a year to over 130 recipients on seven routes.

Main stage musical performers for Friday, July 21st: Face to Face (headliner), Lyin’ Eyes Tradewinds, and The Donnellys. On Saturday, July 22nd : Bon Journey (headliner), Your Enemies, All Or Nothin and S.A.M.
