This summer, the first tangible public sector investment in the new Main Street has gotten underway with the construction of sidewalks in Main Street’s Harris Hill district. When completed, the new sidewalks will span Main Street from Transit Road to Sheridan Drive.
The work is just the beginning for Main Street. The Town of Clarence has been hard at work on code changes and planning to implement the Vision: Main Street plan, which Clarence adopted and incorporated into the Town’s master plan last fall.
Already, construction of sidewalks on the southern side of Main Street has progressed as far as Roxbury Drive, a distance of nearly two miles. Completion of the project is slated for November of this year.

Wondering why just some of the sidewalks along main st between transit and Harris hill ( on south side) are repaired. Looks like a patch-up job.

I put up a comment about the sidewalks on main btw transit and Harris hill but it’s not visible. I would like to know why a patch-up job was done? In front of the cemetery the walk is curved around a tree and blocks of sidewalks are only redone. This area is part of the redevolpement of Clarence also but seems to be less important. After all, it is the “introduction” to the 3 hamlets that make up our beautiful Clarence! All of Clarence matters
