Vision: Main Street is now a part of the Town’s Master Plan, but one of the first significant changes in what is now known as Central Main happened way back in 2008, with the opening of Goodrich Coffee & Tea at 9450 Main Street Clarence.
The independent coffee shop has seen a lot of changes over the years, including the arrival (and subsequent departure) of a Dunkin’ Donuts franchise store nearby, the addition of a San Francisco Coffee Roaster and – most importantly of all – an expansion of the wholesale side of their business into office and retail locations including Whole Foods.
The ten-year milestone is a big one for the family owned business headed by Richard Budde, and he wants to give back to the community that has helped him succeed. “We want to say thank you to Clarence,” says Budde. “Come in this week to help us celebrate our 10 year anniversary. Each day we will have a special or give away, beginning with $1 coffee today – any size.” Budde added that he would post new daily specials all week long to the company’s Instagram and Facebook accounts.
