Though the temperatures were cooler, the first weekend of fall offered up a comfortable riding day and a warm sun to the Riders who descended on West Shore Brewing Company for the Octoberfest Bike Stampede.

The 13.7 mile route took riders through the Clarence Hollow and Central Main, escorted by Orange-clad Slow Roll Squad up into Clarence Center before returning through the Hollow to West Shore for their Octoberfest after party.
The three 2018 Clarence Ride Series events drew well over a thousand riders to showcase our Main Street and the Town of Clarence as a whole – easily the biggest Slow Roll draw in Western New York outside of the Monday Night rides in the City of Buffalo.
Meanwhile – just a short distance to the west – workers were busy putting down the first three miles of Main Street bike lanes. Super cool to see our Town of Clarence becoming more bike-friendly every day!
These FREE and inclusive rides were made possible with the support of our host venues Murphy Brown’s Craft Beer Empourium, Brennan’s Bowery Bar, and West Shore Brewing Company, along with contributions from the following sponsors:
