Here Comes Hollow Day!

For Clarence Hollow residents and businesses, Saturday May 21st will be their day to shine. A day long schedule of events includes a walking tour, food and music all designed to show off everything Clarence Hollow.

The full experience kicks off with Flower Days at the Clarence Hollow Farmers’ Market (10717 Main Street). From there it’s a short walk up the bike path to the Clarence Town Park for the Clarence Hollow Day Historic Home Walk.

Sponsored by the Clarence Hollow Association, the walk runs from 11am – 3pm. Start out at the Veterans Memorial, learn the history of the Clarence Town Park, from it’s start as the Lusk farm to it’s days as the original Automobile Club. Then make your way to the Landau Cabin – one of the oldest structures in Erie County, the Oshei House and several other points of interest. The walk wraps up at Morluski’s Restaurant (10678 Main Street) with music from Miller and the Other Sinners at 3pm.

But wait there’s more. At 5pm, make your way up the block to the Brickhall in the Hollow (10750 Main Street) to register for the Clarence Hollow Restaurant Walk. If you’re just arriving, don’t fret – there’s parking at the Town Park with a double-decker shuttle bus taking you to the Brickhall. At registration, you’ll receive coupons good for food and drink specials at participating Hollow establishments, including: AJ’s, Lion & Eagle Pub, Gianni Mazia’s, Asa Ransom House, The Humbert House, The Hollow Bistro, The Cornerstone Bar & Grill, Morluski’s, Main Street Pizza Garden and West Shore Brewing.
