Dust off those cowboy boots and get ready to Boot Scoot N Boogie across the sawdust floor for national touring act Zac Brown Tribute Band, who headlines this edition of the Main Street Music Calendar.

You’ll find ZBTB at Nashville’s II this Saturday night August 27th from 9pm-1am. This group is as close to real deal as it gets. Join the line dancers in a Buffalo Stomp or just come have a drink and enjoy the music! Either way you’ll be glad you indulged.

If you’re out tonight, stop on by Murphy Brown’s 7-10pm for Tuesday Blues-day and catch me, AJ “Apple Jack” Tetzlaff. Each week I’m joined by a talented area musician, and this week the Guitar Center’s own Trevor Campbell will be my guest. If you’ve ever walked into Guitar Center and experienced his endless talents on guitar you already know that this night will something to experience.

Can’t make it on Tuesday? Local celebrity Sarah Elizabeth takes over Murphy Brown’s Saturday August 27th between 7pm and 10pm.

Elsewhere, The nearly-famous Penny Lane Café offers live music five nights a week. First off, Tuesday night is the Original Music Night where artists bring their own material to sit in with a house band hosted by Aaron Ziolowski. Thursday it’s open Mic Night from 7-11pm. Finally, if you’re in the mood for a Guinness and an Irish spirit, look no further than Brennan’s Bowery Bar. Their spirit savvy Bartenders and well rounded menu are the perfect fit for any Friday night on the town. Come see Steve Balesteri 10pm-1am. Steve will be joined by his Sax player/percussionist Nelson Rivera and his Drummer Tim Webb to bring you all the current hits in the Pop/Soul genres. Don’t be surprised if catch a few party favorites along with R&B, Country, and Jazz. With 3 years of group performances this trio is tightly knit and fully worth the night out!
